    I just started using Painter X on my new macbook pro. with my wacom tablet. I'm following along with a lesson from Ryan Church....doing everything exactly like he says. I choose my layer, go to effects, orientation, distort.....it puts my image in the box with the handles but doesn't allow me...

    Hi Joel, The answer to "why" is that your original image dimensions aspect ratio and the desired dimensions aspect ratio are not the same: Your original image width is 1.444 times the original image height (26 wide divided by 18 high = 1.444). Your desired image width is 1.4 times the desired...
