The surrealist painting Floating Orchid was created in Painter using my Wacom tablet and pen. Two subjects, a spectacular view of the sea—and a favorite yellow orchid provided inspiration for the piece. I used the fabulous Artists Oils brushes in combination with textured Impasto to realize the painting. To finalize the painting, I painted details with the Pastels. The painting was featured on the cover of The Painter IX Wow! Book.
