Karen Sperling has been writing about and teaching Painter since she wrote the first manual for Painter version 1, which debuted at August Boston Macworld in 1991, and she was one of the original demonstrators.
She is currently working on her fourth Painter book entitled "Painting for Photographers," which will be available in summer 2008.
She continues to publish her monthly e-zine Artistry Tips and Tricks and she teaches her Artistry Retreats in Malibu, CA on the Pepperdine University campus high atop the Santa Monica mountains with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.
In both her classes and tutorials, Karen shows the Painter steps and art concepts for turning photos into paintings in Painter.
She also offers the Artistry GARTEL Marketing Seminars, where veteran artist and photographer Laurence Gartel teaches how to sell and market photos and paintings.
