    Mac G5

I just purchased Painter X and now I've been told that I can't install it onto a G5. Does anyone know a way around this. It's not information that Corel provided but I don't really want to return the software, I just want to start using it. Thanks, Debbie

Hi Debbie, I am running Painter 10.1.052 on a Mac PowerPC G5 under a clean install of Leopard 10.5.4. I was previously running the application under Tiger also, again on the G5. David

I've also used Painter 10 on a G5 (an older iMac) without any problems. What kind of G5 are you using (single, dual, or quad processor)? Is it the installer that's telling you that it cannot install?

    Hi Debbie:

Have you actually tried installing Painter on your G5?  If not, why don't you try and let us know the results :)

    Thanks!

Painter X run fine even in my Powerbook g4. Brush-ghosting on, BTW.
